Pachadi / Raita

Tasty side Dish that eases digestion & Adds great falvour to many main dishes.

Ingredients (2~3 people)

Onion (1)

Cucumber (1)

Tomato (1)

Water (150 ml)

Salt

yogurt / Curd (100 ml)

Coriander (if available)

Preparation

chopped Onion Peel skin off and chop the onion into small pieces
finely cut cucumbur Clean and cut the cucumber into small pieces
Cut Tomato Clean and cut the tomato into small pieces
Coriander leaves Clean and pluck the coriander leaves

Cooking

Pictur 072 In a bowl put in the chopped onion, cucumber, tomato and add half a spoon salt
Pictur 075 Now add the coriander, yogurt and some water into the bowl
Pictur 077 Mix the contents and slowly add all the remaining water – so the mixture becomes a smooth paste
Pictur 079 Pachadi is ready!! . You can also try adding fine cut carrot, half of a sliced green chili to get new flavours
